Universal Declaration of Human Rights

It  is a milestone document in the history of human rights. the Declaration was proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in Paris on 10 December 1948

 It establishes a universal framework of minimum standards for the survival, dignity and well-being of the indigenous peoples of the world. It  was adopted by the General Assembly on Thursday, 13 September 2007

UN Convention on Genocide

In 1948, the early days of the formation of the UN, the Convention on Genocide was approved and proposed for ratification by General Assembly Resolution 260A (III). Today, UNESCO and many other bodies work on watch-dogging and implementing the contemporary aspects of the Convention.

UN Nelson Mandela Rules

Not only adopted the revised United Nations Standard Minimum Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners, but also approved that they should be known as the "Nelson Mandela Rules" in order to honour the legacy of the late President of South Africa.
